Reaching the Summit
After 76 years of being a Presbyterian, I have been to many of what I call "mountain-top experiences," each one seemingly being better than the last one.
Of course, HPC 14 was like that also, except that it was probably the summit. I felt like Peter, James and John must have felt on Mount Hermon at the Transfiguration - and never more so than the morning when we were clothed in our Robes of Righteousness. It was at that moment that I knew I was filled with the Holy Spirit.
Love was the predominant theme, as we all followed our Lord's command to love one another. He said, "As I have loved you, so must you love one another," and this we truly did. Praise God! This was all done to His glory and honor.
